We realize that your time with us was only the beginning of a long journey. As with other chronic conditions, substance dependence requires lifelong attention, and the road to recovery is not always easy. Because we want you to continue down the right path, we created a program that offers a variety of activities, events, and service opportunities for those who completed our substance dependence treatment.
Lighthouse’s alumni program includes activities such as quarterly meetings, field trips, speaking engagements, newsletter participation, annual barbeques, and holiday parties. In addition, we give alumni the opportunity to become contacts for those making the transition from treatment to their everyday lives. Your understanding of how difficult the recovery process can be will help support others who are struggling to keep themselves drug- or alcohol-free.
You can also contribute by simply sharing your story -- anonymously -- on this website or in our alumni newsletter. Lastly, by letting us know how you are doing post-treatment, you will help us assess the effectiveness of our care, which in turn will help us in our improvement efforts. Lighthouse specialists conduct follow-up interviews periodically, starting with one three days after a patient's discharge.
If you are interested in participating in any of our alumni events, please register your e-mail address. |
