At Lighthouse, patients receive individualized treatment for their drug or alcohol addiction every step of the way -- from the moment they walk through our doors to the time they are ready to resume their lives. Our comprehensive rehab program includes the following services:
Evaluation
During the evaluation process, addiction specialists examine prospective patients to determine their need for treatment and appropriate level of care. Lighthouse staff is available to evaluate and admit patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at our Mays Landing center. Evaluations at our Manahawkin and Ventnor sites are by appointment. |

| Academic Program |
| In response to the needs of adolescent patients, we created the "Lighthouse Academy" -- an educational program for at-risk students undergoing treatment for a drug or alcohol addiction. This program -- which meets New Jersey state education requirements -- offers individualized educational plans to help adolescents obtain school credit and boost their academic performance. | Family Program |
| Because we view chemical dependence as a family disease, we offer a comprehensive program to help family members understand a loved one's addiction, treatment, and recovery. Through educational lectures, videos, multifamily group meetings, and communication skills activities, participants gain insights to help them work through the various issues associated with having a family member who is struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction. |
